Christian has truly earned his reputation as the UK’s leading hairdresser specialising in thermal hair treatments such as permanent straightening and the Digital Perm. He was the first British hairdresser to train at the famous Yuko Academy with Yuko Yamashita and he went on to teach the techniques in both Dubai and Paris. Christian’s career has spanned 20 years and he started as a L’Oreal trained colour technician. His early salon experience includes Molton Brown and the Yuko Salon in Curzon Street and he then went on to launch his own salon, Compton Hair in Soho. The salon proved to be a huge success and soon Christian moved to larger premises in Covent Garden. It was there that Christian met his assistant Sebastian Stetkiewicz and they continued to carve out their reputation for being the best in permanent hair straightening. His unsurpassed knowledge in chemical hair treatments has made Christian the ‘go-to’ hairdresser for straightening. Being constantly on the lookout for new techniques and treatments led Christian to another UK first – the launch of the new Digital Perm. Over the years they have developed their own techniques, which allow them to work with all different hair types and conditions.
